Return & Exchange Policy

All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number before shipping.

1.The Return Windows

To qualify for a return or exchange, items must be in original, unopened, and resalable condition with all packaging, labels, and accessories included.

  • 7-Day Refund Window: Full refunds (minus shipping) are available within 7 days of purchase.
  • 14-Day Exchange Window: Item exchanges are available within 14 days of purchase.
  • 30-Day Return Window: Unopened items may be returned up to 30 days from the purchase date.
  • Restocking Fee: Any return or exchange initiated after the 14-day window (Days 15–30) is subject to a 25% restocking fee. No returns are accepted after 30 days.

2. Custom Paints & Aerosols (Strict Liability)

Mandatory Testing: Customers must perform a spray-out test on a test card or inconspicuous area before applying paint to any vehicle or part.

No Liability: Auto's Supply Stop is not liable for colour mismatches, labour costs, or the replacement of any parts once the paint has been applied.

Final Sale: Custom-mixed paints and aerosols are non-refundable and non-returnable.

3.Required Return Authorization (RA) Process

All returns must go through our formal RA system. Packages arriving without a printed RA form attached to the outside will be refused and returned to sender.

To obtain an RA number, visit our RA Page and complete the 4-step process:

  1. Reason for Return: Defective, Wrong Item, Changed Mind, or No Longer Needed.
  2. Condition of Item: Factory Sealed, Opened but Unused, or Attempted Installation.
  3. Packaging Status: Original Box Included, or Packaging Damaged/Missing.
  4. Photo Upload: Required for all "Defective" or "Damaged" claims.

Once approved, you must print the RA document and attach it to your package.

4.Shipping & Logistics

  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Return Freight: The client is responsible for all shipping costs back to our Distribution Center at Jefferson Blvd.
  • Refused Packages: We do not accept "Freight Collect" or unauthorized shipments.

5.Automotive & Hazardous Material Specifics

  • Electrical Components: To prevent "diagnostic returns," electrical parts (sensors, ECUs, bulbs, wiring) are non-returnable if the factory seal or plastic packaging has been opened.
  • Installed Parts: Any part that shows signs of being "bolted on," mounted, or installed is ineligible for return.
  • Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT): Returns of aerosols, thinners, or solvents must be shipped in compliance with DOT regulations. You must use original "Limited Quantity" or "ORM-D" marked packaging.
  • Core Returns: Cores must be returned in the original box of the new part. All fluids (oil, coolant, etc.) must be drained prior to shipping. Leaking cores will be refused due to environmental safety protocols.

6.PRO Portal Requirements

  • Professional accounts must use the dedicated PRO RA Portal.
  • The PRO system mirrors the 4-question validation process.
  • Category and Brand dropdowns are mandatory for PRO returns to ensure accurate inventory tracking and manufacturer credit.
